Laura is actively involved in The Farmer’s House through the Farm Hands – a group of civic-minded young professionals who support our mission by organizing several events a year with the goal of creating a space for young adults with disabilities to grow and learn alongside their peers. Professionally, Laura joined the residential interior design firm, A Well Dressed Home, to build their business in Kansas City and across the Midwest. Laura is a graduate of Texas Christian University, a wife to her husband Alex, and a mother to their happy little girl, Gioriga Lucille (and French bulldog, Chunk).
Laura describes herself as mostly right-brained with some left-brain tendencies, creative but down to the details and hyper-organized. Treating others the way you want to be treated is something Laura takes to heart. She is eager to work alongside a group of people who share her passion for helping others learn, grow and pursue their dreams.
