This structured program provides meaningful activities in local communities, including vocational training, academic advancement and avenues for using special talents and abilities.
Our goal is to increase autonomy and self-reliance, empower choices, maximize dignity, and encourage positive social interactions and healthy lifestyles. Through the cultivation of individual talents and promotion of self-determination skills, people with disabilities make contributions to the cultural and economic life of our community.
We believe that all people can be creative in a collaborative, supportive environment. We foster self-expression and creativity through art activities conducted in our Margaret Nerman Studio (Westwood, Kansas), a vibrant art space and gallery where individuals create, exhibit, and sell their work.
Program activities occur weekdays. Admission is based on available openings and individuals meeting our admissions criteria.
