Employment Services

Providing career planning, job exploration and development, placement, job coaching and retention activities based on individual abilities, skills and interests.

Our goal is to help individuals with developmental disabilities secure and maintain employment within their local communities.

We’re committed to facilitating appropriate matches between job candidates and employers. Our services are provided free of charge to employers.

Our Employment Specialists:

  • Match qualified applicants to employers based on job candidate interests and abilities.
  • Provide ongoing, on-site supports (as needed) at no cost to the employee or employer.
  • Promote natural worksite supports through training and modeling.
  • Offer ongoing assessments to identify skill development needs.
Work Based Learning
Work Based Learning simulates a competitive integrated employment setting by providing an authentic work experience which increases personal workplace readiness knowledge and the skills necessary for future careers. Through our social enterprises, we offer 6 to 8 week paid internships allowing individuals the opportunity to gain knowledge, work skills, and resume building experience while our Employment Specialists coach them to enhance work skills. We also partner with local companies to provide individual choice based on area of employment interest.
