What is a matching gift and how do companies match donations?
Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations. It’s an easy way to double your donation and the impact of your gift.
Are matching gifts tax-deductible (company and individual)?
Yes, matching gifts are tax-deductible for company and individual donations.
How do I request a matching gift?
Requesting a matching gift is a quick process that must be initiated by the donor. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process.
Make a matching donation by mail.
Send your completed company matching gift form (available through your company’s human resources department) to The Farmer’s House (address below). Be sure to include our Federal Tax ID number/Employer Identification Number (EIN): 32-0171681
